Reagan Lodge was raised near the Pala Indian Reservation in southern California. After attending the California State Summer School of the Arts (CSSSA) for animation in 2002, Lodge was accepted into a myriad of art schools yet could not afford any of them and set out to become a self-employed illustrator instead.
