The Department Of the Navy (DON) Acquisition Intern Program is a civilian (not active duty military) professional hiring program. The Naval Acquisition Career Center (NACC) manages several hundred interns at any given time. This program has recently converted from the General Schedule pay scale to the National Security Personnel System pay for performance.
