[Source] ArachSilk was a synthetic substance with high tensile strength produced by Corellian Chemical Corporation and used to make netting. The fine-mesh netting used in the ammunition of the AO14 net gun, produced by Palandrix Personal Protection Gear, was made of ArachSilk. The material was strong enough to prevent most animals or sentients escaping from nets made of ArachSilk. It was available during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire.
