Hoqe-zan was a Jedi Knight in the New Jedi Order. He was trained by Jedi Master Yeiul-tah, who was once a Padawan of Luke Skywalker. Hoqe-zan developed a skill with a lightsaber, and Yeiul-tah was amazed at how quickly he believed his Padawan was learning. Hoqe-zan soon learned that he was no longer Yeiul's apprentice, but his fellow Council member's.
