Atelopus pachydermus is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Ecuador and Peru , possibly Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
