The 300AP Ayrtona 500 marked the return of the famous race after a 6-year hiatus, and featured a field of 28 cars, with drivers from all around Vexillium. Piet-Maria Caniz won the race in what would be his first of three total Ayrtona 500 victories. The successful running of this event laid the groundwork for the establishment of ICARA with two further races in 300AP to form the so-called "Mini-Series", followed by the first full ICARA season in 301AP.
