Around 1919 PD, Harris held the rank of Lieutenant Commander and served as tactical officer of the Edward Saganami-class heavy cruiser HMS Jessica Epps. When Jessica Epps attempted to stop a ship falsely broadcasting an Andermani transponder code in the Zoraster System, she was attacked by IANS Hellebarde. Lieutenant Commander Harris was killed along with the rest of the crew when their ship was destroyed in the following engagement. (HH10)
