The Shantak River is a river that begins its life in the Mountains of the Giants. It increases in volume as flows through the Shantak Cradle, essentially the green northern foothills of the Mountains of the Giants where many tributaries join with its waters. It is a fast flowing river, delving deep gorges through the landscape and punching out into the sea at Shantak Bay.
