Oshina was the capital of Naboo after the planet was liberated from the Yuuzhan Vong. It was officially founded immediately after the planet was taken back in 30 ABY and by the end of the year the city's first buildings were completed. It lent its name to the planet's new monarch, Amlé Oshina, who took it as the new royal seat. In time, this new city grew to be the equal in size, beauty, and prestige to Theed at its height. Its oldest cultural building was the Naboo Museum of the Old Republic.
