After returning from his time in the Flaxan dimension, due to Monster Girl falling out with him and their relationship crumbling, Rudolph resumed his duties as a defender of Earth. However, his many years as ruler of the Flaxan dimension affected him greatly, which eventually lead him to betray his friends on Earth in an attempt to gain control over the planet, believing he could lead it to a new era of peace as he did on the Flaxan home-world.
