Tybalt Capulet is the hot-tempered cousin of Juliet Capulet. After he finds out that Romeo Montague has crashed the Capulet ball (where he met Juliet), Tybalt challenges him to a duel. Romeo refuses to fight so his friend Mercutio fights in his place. When Tybalt Capulet kills Mercutio, Romeo Montague kills Tybalt.
