Racial Tension is the degree of unease between different nationalities and cultures within a nation. Racial Tension is increased by policies that highlight or reward cultural and ethnic differences. It's also increased by high rates of Poverty, Immigration, and poor Foreign Relations. Racial Tension largely affects the Violent Crime rate and the risk of Terrorism. However, it also affects the Patriot and Liberal membership rates; while high degrees of tension increase nationalist attitudes, low degrees increase international sentiment.
