Jerome Zander "Jersey" Paltz (b. 1953; d. 1999) was the owner of Hooten's Lighting & Supplies in Las Vegas. In late 2000, he arranged to deliver surveillance equipment to Cassie Black, but attempted to rob her instead before she overpowered him. Black left Paltz bound in the van in the parking garage of the Flamingo while she executed a heist at the Cleopatra Casino and Resort.
