Akatsuki Uchiha is the Descendant of Kintaro Uchiha and a former test subject of Project Black Sun, a project that involved implanting Hashirama Senju's DNA to recreate Yamato's successful turnout with the addition of using Sharingan Serum to implant Madara Uchiha's DNA as well in an effort to produce Rinnegan wielders. He is an Anbu of the hidden leaf and a part of the Hokage's Guard unit. He is also the jinchuriki of a unique tailed beast from the stars called Taiyōkō (太陽光).
