Callie and Marie, collectively the Squid Sisters, are a single default playable character in Super Smash Bros. Miscela and Super Duper Smash Bros.. Only one of Callie or Marie appear in battle at once, with both Callie and Marie occupying separate costume slots and hence both have alternate costumes. The Squid Sisters are the most popular pop idols in Inkopolis, and the hosts of the Inkopolis News program, telling the Inklings which stages are currently in rotation in online play, as well as the Splatfest events. They reuse voice clips from Splatoon.
