E. Max Frye is an American screenwriter and film director. After college, he lived in Paris and worked as a male model in Austria before returning to the United States and settling New York. He first started as a painter before moving on to writing. Notable credits to his name include, Amos & Andrew (1993), the hit HBO series "Band of Brothers" and Foxcatcher (2014).
