Ben was 11 years old when he was traveling Kalos along with his father and mother when he was just four, at the age of 8 his mother passed away and was looked after by his father in they big home along with they pokemon and his fathers studies and with his father being away he was looked after his butler Emmanuel Valentino at the age of 10 he was given a Eevee for his birthday by his father and the started his journey with her and was met by his old friend and now rival Allen Krause who has his pokemon Charmander and Tentacruel who challengers him for a pokemon battle but he then lost the battle by his rival who has now walked away and laughing just like back at nursery.
