3.14 and 4.13 are playing Mario Sports Mix when 3.14 asks why it's called sports "mix" if all of the sports are separate. So, he decides to make a proper sports mix. In Adventure mode, 3.14 decides to use the "Thing That Revives Master Binary" (a Diabolus Ex Machina) as a ball, despite everybody else telling him not to, and he completely misses the throw, causing it to crash into the ground and break. Because of this, Master Binary gets revived. He then causes an explosion that scatters everybody around the world. 3.14 then has to assemble a team, and defeat Master Binary.
