Gardonville Cooperative Telephone Association (GCTel) is located in Brandon, MN and is a private cooperative owned by the people in which it serves. The name Gar-don-ville is a compilation of the town names in which it serves: Garfield, Brandon, and Evansville. GCTel also serves several smaller towns including Erdahl, Leaf Valley, Melby and Millerville. Phase two consisted of a new office. Awards / Recognition On March 24th 2003, GCTel was selected for the 2002 21st Century Leadership Award for Economic Development. This award was presented by the Minnesota Telecom Alliance.
