Major General Jeffery W. Hammond (born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi) is a retired United States Army officer. He is currently the Athletic Director at the University of Southern Mississippi. He had previously served as the commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division and of the Multi-National Division in Assistance war Kabul, Afghanistan.
