Yurik was a young Fongoid that participated in the Battle of Gimlick Valley. When Nefarious marooned Ratchet and Clank on Morklon, they encountered Yurik who, despite the overwhelmingly depressing conditions of the planet, managed to cheerfully inform the duo on the historic battle of Gimlick Valley, indicating that he may have been a tour guide for the area. However, after his description of the battle, Yurik was overcome by regret and sadness about Zahn Gribnak being captured, pardoned, imprisoned and killed.
