Hilbert Black (Japanese: ヒルベルトブラック Hiruberuto) is the main character of the BW Masters series. Hilbert is a 13-year-old boy who became a Pokémon Trainer after he got a Snivy from the package Professor Juniper sent him and his friends Cheren and Bianca. Hilbert is shown to have a vast knowledge of medicine and the uses for them. He once wanted to become a Pokémon Doctor behore he became a Trainer. He lives with his mother and their pet, Audino.
