The flying chariot was stolen between the The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian by Apollo's cabin and Ares' cabin. Ares' cabin lead the raid, while Apollo's cabin captured the chariot. They were fighting about who gets it, with Apollo cursing the Ares' cabin to rhyme their sentences. Apollo's cabin got the right to it (even Chiron agreed), causing Clarisse to get angry and not let her cabin participate in the war against Kronos which led to Silena Beauregard dressing in Clarisse's armor and leading the Ares cabin to battle. Later, Apollo's cabin let Ares' cabin take the chariot in the hopes of them helping but Clarisse refused, saying that her cabin's honor had been already hurt too much to accept it.
