1580: British explorer Sir Francis Drake explores Asia, as well as Latin/Central America and California. He heads west after navigating around the San Fransisco Bay Area. It is believed that he landed on the east coast of Kings Island, the second largest island in the Lovian Archipelago, during his journey.
