The Battle of Shallow Waters, fought in 1142, was a defeat of the Lion Clan led by Akodo Ijiasu against the Hantei XVI's Spirit Army. The spirits had swarmed through the small Lion bastion, and the defenders were routed and fled on the Golden Plains.
