Tsubasa was the leader of the Guards' Wrath, a ronin otokodate base in the village of Porisuko. He eventually named Meigumi as his heir, a samurai-ko who had been left as a baby in the Temple to Mikoto, and raised under the wing of the Guards. Tsubasa saw Meigumi as the daughter he never had.
