The MT-16 Combat Speeder, sometimes known alternatively as the Modified T-16 Skyhopper or Military T-16 Skyhopper, is a joint creation of the Incom Corporation and the Republic Engineering Corporation. The MT-16 is essentially a faster and more heavily armed version of the popular T-16 Skyhopper. The MT-16 was created exclusively at first for the New Republic, but as the government was gradually able to afford more impressive air speeders, the MT-16 was offered up on the open market. It has since found homes among police organizations, smaller governments, and private owners.
