Pavenders were non-talking, rainbow-coloured fish that lived in the oceans of Narnia. When the Pevensies were called back into Narnia by Susan's Horn just before the Narnian Revolution, they found themselves at the ruins of Cair Paravel. Before leaving the island to rejoin Caspian, they and Trumpkin caught and ate Pavenders for breakfast. Pavenders were also a regular breakfast item for centaurs (according to Orruns the Faun).
