The Lightning is a yo-yo produced by What's Next Mfg. as a part of their BC line, first released in the 1990s. Like certain other yo-yos in the line-up (as well as the older Hummingbird Trickster), the Lightning featured multi-layer lamination for a variety of bold colorways. Typical of the BC line, it featured an Imperial body profile with a fixed wooden axle, ideal for performing the classic tricks such as Walk the Dog and Loop the Loop.
