Dr. Ellie Deyga, MD is a talented South African-born human medic and currently the Chief Medical Officer of the Colonia Expedition. She first joined the Stargate Program as part of the Atlantis Expedition serving under Dr. Carson Beckett and then Jennifer Keller until 2014 when she was part of the relief effort on Aramis and became stranded in the Vennix Galaxy. After arriving in the alien galaxy she became chief medical officer of Colonia and is often the first on the scene of any medical crisis, ready and able to do whatever it takes to save lives, friend or foe.
