It deals extremely high amounts of damage and knockback, but is extremely rare. The M82 Sniper does not need to be unlocked to obtain .50 Cal ammo. It can generally be found from zombie drops at the Military Base in Waterside. Alternatively, wait for a horde attack at Union Island, then farm out the drops.
