A Special event (also know as a special offer or promo) is an event that happens usually around holidays and anniversaries where DarkOrbit brings a limited time discount or a special day where something can be earned that is otherwise usually difficult to obtain. These are usually notified to users on the Home page with a pop-up screen that lets you know which special event is ongoing and for how long. Do not forget to check out the regular events that feature multiplayer games and usually new updates.
