Wild Card is Corsair's special job ability from Final Fantasy XI. It operates much like Phantom Roll, only with Wild Card there is no option to Double-up. The PC "rolls" upon using Wild Card, and has a chance of getting any number I-VI. Each number has different effects on the Corsair and any nearby party members, but all numbers reset at least some job ability recast timers. special job abilities may or may not be affected. The timer for Wild Card itself, however, usually is not, unless Job Points have been invested in improving Wild Card. This applies both to the player using Wild Card as well as any other Corsairs who might happen to be in the party.
