Zebes was a Class XIX rogue planet that had been passing through the FS-176 Solar System at the time of its ultimate destruction. Initially home to a Chozo colony known as Chozodia where Samus Aran had been taken to be raised by them after the decimation of her home of K-2L, it was more recently taken over by a group of the Space Pirates who became known as the Zebesians.
