Commanding General Rachel Meredith Fabray is an American-born UNSC Marine Corps General Officer and 58th and current Commandant of the Marine Corps, succeeding Joseph T. Casey in 2565. Prior to this, she served in the UNSC Marine Corps Aviation with distinction and was appointed Deputy Commandant for Aviation at the start of the War of Vengeance, and she served as the CMC throughout the Second Great War. She has since come out in support of the integration of former Covenant species in the UNSC.
