Due to copyright issues with Marvel Comics, this figure had to be called Shazam rather than Captain Marvel, despite the fact that it actually was Captain Marvel. However, the Industrial Toy Werks variant, which is missing a cape, actually says Captain Marvel on the package rather than Shazam.
