The Pre-MervueMeringue Era (also known as Pre-Youtube Era) was the first era in the History of Mapping. This was the time before MervueMeringue and the rise of his style. At this point, map animation contained only dates, and no speaking or interaction between countries. This era lasted between 23rd of April, 2005, with Youtube's first video, and 8th July, 2010 with History of Europe Part 1.
