Rob Palmer (born October 2, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan) was a professional ice hockey player who played 16 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Chicago Blackhawks. He played for the University of Denver from 1970 to 1973 and was chosen 93rd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. Palmer turned pro in 1973-74 in the Blackhawks' system. Over 3 years he played in only 16 games with the NHL team, scoring 3 assists. He retired early in the 1976-77 season.
