The Devil Wars was the name the Neyel gave to the conflict the Neyel Hegemony had with the Tholian Assembly when a series of subspace rifts connected Tholian space to the Small Magellanic Cloud. The war ended between the two governments through the efforts of Federation diplomat Aidan Burgess. (TTN novel: The Red King)
