Prior to his work on Sonic the Comic, Dermot Power had worked on another British comic, 2000AD (also published by Egmont Fleetway). His work on Sonic the Comic was some of his last in comics before making the jump to the film industry as a concept artist. He has worked on several blockbuster films, including the Harry Potter series, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Batman Begins and several Tim Burton movies.
