Raul Obiurgo was the Chief Architect of Utapau during the Great Sovereign Crusades, a conflict in 3,522 BBY between the Galactic Republic and the Third Sith Empire. During the war, the Mandalorian Clans launched the Battle of Utapau, destroying a great deal of the architecture and art of the planet, which was Obiurgo's job as Chief Architect to protect. Out of remorse for what happened to planet, Obiurgo committed suicide.
