Shaket Nefore was a Jedi that lived in the Rise of the Empire era. He was a friend of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Nefore was taken to the Jedi Temple at the age of three. He was born on Tatooine to his Mother and Father. They were poor moisture farmers and could not provide for Shaket. They gave him to Grandmaster Yoda when he visited Tatooine. It is unknown why Yoda went to Tatooine, but it is speculated that he foresaw the boy's greatness in the Force. He became the apprentice of Bishop-Dos Qui, one of the most Force-Sensitive Jedi at the time. Bishop sensed the Force deeply within the young apprentice.
