Hugo Gresham (March 4, 1895 - January 19, 1998) is a Wizard academic best known for his research of magical auras. He is also known for his turbulent personal life that has been pervaded with loss from the early deaths of his parents, to the murder of three of his four wives, and the deaths of 6 of his 8 children. Gresham died during the Second Wizarding War of natural causes. He is survived by his fourth wife, Victoria, and his two surviving sons, Dmitri Gresham and Edmund Gresham.
