The Robotnik Family is an Overlander family, with one of its earliest known members being Professor Gerald Robotnik. However, Prehistoric Mobius is known to have been inhabited by one Ivo Robughnik, who may have been an ancient ancestor of this family. It was united with the ancient Kintobor Family through the marriage of Ivo Kintobor to Gerald's daughter Bertha. The Robotnik family name continued through Gerald's son Geraldo Robotnik in the form of his daughter Maria, but it is unknown whether Geraldo had any other descendants following Maria's death. However, the Robotnik name was later taken up by Bertha's son Julian Kintobor, who became Dr. Ivo Robotnik, and by Colin Kintobor Jr., who became Snively Robotnik. (StH: #12, CSE)
