Animated Second Doctor is an alternate version of our lord and savior Patty Tratty, created to fill the gaps in the DVD releases of incomplete stories because the BBC sharted all over some episodes. If he had never been created, we would only have maybe nine Second Doctor DVD releases. He is ultra-level canon until the episodes he was created to fill get recovered, which they likely never will.
