Aphrodite challenges you to a quiz and you can only get the mirror after you complete it. It can take you to certain points in different realms such as Main Street, theUnderworld, the sea, and back to Aphrodite as a starting point as long as you have traveled there manually at least once. You will eventually need it in order to convince Hercules to help you defeat Zeus.
