Batorese was the language of the Blood Carver species from the planet Batorine. Batorese was a difficult language to master, as it used sounds, scents and a minimal amount of skin coloration to communicate information. This was common and logical for Blood Carvers, but most other species could not understand the language. Even protocol droids had difficulty understanding Batorese, and it was useless for non-Blood Carvers to try to speak it.
