When a prototype Starfleet vessel is discovered in the Delta Quadrant, equipped with a new form of propulsion that is much faster than warp drive, the crew of Voyager prepare to head home - but soon the new "quantum slipstream drive" is revealed to be little more than a plan for revenge on Janeway and her crew.
