The Exploding Shape was an unnamed enemy shape that appeared in the latest patch for the Alone in the Dark: Illumination game. It resembled a wraith with the addition of huge boil-like lumps on its body. It is featured in The Ghost Town level in medium difficulty upwards and the Mines in the easy difficulty setting. Prior to the latest patch, this enemy was almost identical to the Wraith, only differentiated by a type of steam emanating from its body.
