Jornus used to tend a farm along the road to the Ancient Crypt east of town, but when Lord Hovart's undead minions ate the brains of all of his livestock, and began scratching at his windows in the dead of night, he fled to Elddim. Now, he tends to Miller Brienne's corn, or at least he did until he recently lost his scythe. His brother, Forben Heald, who also had a farm in the Iliarth Valley, disappeared amidst the chaos, and was likely dragged away to Hovart's Folly by the undead.
